With a lifelong passion for the saxophone, this Little Rock native switched over to tenor from alto sax at 13 and landed his first professional gig just a year later—sharing the stage with the legendary Four Tops. From that moment, music became more than just a passion—it became a calling. Decades of performing, hosting jam sessions, and leading jazz nights have shaped a playing style rooted in creativity, expression, and technique.
As an instructor, that same dedication carries over into every lesson—helping students not only build a solid foundation but also find their own unique voice. Lessons go beyond scales and charts. Between breaking down rhythms, reimagining familiar tunes, or experimenting with different styles, the goal is always the same—make music, have fun, and communicate through sound. Whether you're picking up the sax for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, every student is guided with patience, passion, and a deep love for the art of music.
